NEWPORT — Megan Perry of Etna, a senior at Nokomis Regional High, was selected to receive the 2012 Principal’s Award, Principal Mary Nadeau announced recently. The award, sponsored by the Maine Principals’ Association, is given in recognition of a high school senior’s academic achievement and citizenship.

Perry is the daughter of Alan and Lori Perry of Etna. She plans to pursue a degree in the medical field upon graduation.

Perry, Nadeau, and other award winners and their principals attended an honors luncheon at the Spectacular Event Center in Bangor.
