HALLOWELL — Hubbard Free Library will sponsor a Creative Arts Auction from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at Slate’s Restaurant, 167 Water St.

An hour-long preview of items will begin at 5 p.m. The silent auction will close at 7 p.m. and the live auction will take place from 6 to 8 p.m.

Featured items including old and new paintings, photography, signed prints, autographed books by Maine authors, sculpture, pottery and wooden chairs hand-painted by local artists. Proceeds will benefit the library’s capital campaign to offset the cost of building renovations.

The restaurant’s bar will be open and refreshments will be available courtesy of the library.
