STILL LIFE: The Dark Side in broad daylight

A man watches as Timothy Landry of Fairfield, dressed as Darth Vader, is helped out of a van by Gene Paradis at the Gamestop store in Waterville. Landry showed up in costume to buy the new Xbox 360 Star Wars special edition that was released nationally on Tuesday. “I’m a big fan of Star Wars,” the 42-year-old Landry said. The new game costs $400 and he said the costume he wears on Halloween and area events cost him $1,000.
