SKOWHEGAN — A Fairfield man has been indicted by a Somerset County grand jury on four criminal counts, including aggravated assault and using a dangerous weapon — a hard plastic case that a power drill comes in.

Marty A. Cutten, 44, also is charged with assault and criminal mischief, all stemming from an incident Jan. 19 in Fairfield and involving the same alleged victim.

The aggravated assault charge is a Class B felony, punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

The following people also were indicted by the grand jury:

* Donald T. Banks, 25, of Bronx, N.Y., charged with four counts of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and two counts of illegal importation of scheduled drugs, March 20 in Skowhegan.

* Kevin Scott Crandall, 28, of Wilton, charged with violation of condition of release, Feb. 2 in Madison.

* Steven M. Dudley Sr., 48, of Norridgewock, charged with operating after revocation, March 22 in Norridgewock.

* Joseph T. Hendren, 28, of Norridgewock, charged with operating after revocation and operating under the influence, April 3 in Mercer.

* Eugene E. Young Jr., no age given, of St. Albans, charged with operating after revocation, OUI, operating beyond license restriction or condition and leaving the scene of an accident, March 31 in Hartland.

* Robert A. Mathews, 56, of Pittsfield, charged with OUI, April 7 in Pittsfield.

* Christopher R. Smart, 34, of Norridgewock, charged with eluding a police officer, driving to endanger and criminal speed, Feb. 15 in Norridgewock.

* Brefney A. Way, 33, of Skowhegan, charged with theft, March 19 in Skowhegan.

* Michael L. Fortin, 31, of Skowhegan, charged with theft, March 15 in Skowhegan.

* Rebecca L. Ward, no age given, of Harmony, charged with operating after revocation, March 9 in Harmony.

* David R. Bateman, 43, of Ripley, charged with aggravated forgery and two counts of receiving stolen property, Jan. 13-16 in Skowhegan.

* Steven R. Bosworth, no age given, of Cornville, charged with burglary and theft, Jan. 25 in Brighton Plantation.

* Debra L. Frace, 52, of Skowhegan, charged with two counts of theft of services, June 13-30, 2011 in Canaan.

* Kevin J. Lounsbury, 34, of Clinton, charged with eluding an officer, operating after revocation, driving to endanger and failure to stop for a police officer, April 12 in Fairfield.

* Jared D. Smith, 26, of Fairfield, charged with theft, Feb. 14 in Fairfield.
