The Waterville Opera House re-opened on April 27, and downtown Waterville came alive again.

There was not a parking space to be found along the entire length of Main Street, and all the restaurants were filled prior to showtime.

The opening production showcased the talented actors, actresses, dancers and musicians from central Maine. Maine International Film Festival had a clip as well, so the audience could see the new projector and screen that was part of the renovation.

Opening night was truly a celebration of community coming together to support the performing arts.

There was excitement and awe as patrons saw the new theater for the first time.

Behind the scenes, another group of people put the finishing touches together.

The Waterville Opera House staff worked tirelessly to meet the timeline for the opening. All the performers, including Bossov Ballet, are applauded for all their time and effort.

A big thank you to all who worked so very hard to make opening night a huge success.
