MADISON — Shelby Cutten hit a home run and a single, while Kayla Belanger had a home run and two singles and the Madison softball team cruised to a 12-0 win over Mountain Valley in a Mountain Valley Conference game Wednesday.

Emily McKenney had a single and a double for Madison (5-5). She also earned the win, allowing two hits, while striking out three and walking none. Erika Parker had a triple and a single, while Sierra LeBlanc had two singles.

Mountain Valley falls to 5-5.

Oak Hill 10, MCI 5: Lauren Beganny had two doubles and a single as the Raiders beat the Huskies in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B game in Pittsfield.

Alyssa Rouleau and Alexis Priest each added two singles and a double, while Kortni Michaud had three singles for Oak Hill (7-4).

Courtney Fowler had three singles and a double, while Katelyn Sousa had a triple and a single for MCI (4-7).

Dirigo 12, Carrabec 4: Alyssa Charity singled, doubled, and drove in two runs as the Cougars defeated the Cobras in Dixfield.

Gretchen Bradbury doubled and also drew three walks for Dirigo (5-6), which scored in all six innings. Pitchers Ambyr Wilson and Alyssa Wade combined for five strikeouts.

Carrabec outhit Dirigo, 9-7. Skyla Murray, Kilee Nile, and Jessica Vaillancourt each had two singles for the Cobras (1-8). Pitcher Ashlee Knight struck out seven.

Spruce Mountain 25, Mt. Abram 0: The Phoenix had 17 hits on their way to a shutout win over the Roadrunners in Salem Township.

Alexi Deering singled four times for Spruce Mtn. (9-3). Kathryn Vewntrella added three singles, while Ashlee Quirrion, Ashley Dorey, and Ashlie Robbins each picked up two hits.

Mt. Abram dropped to 3-6.

Baseball

Oceanside 10, Mt. View 4: Ben Wallace had four hits, scored three runs and drove in one as the Mariners beat the Mustangs in a KVAC B game in Thorndike.

Anthony Campagnoli earned the win, pitching a complete game and allowing four runs in five hits for Oceanside (5-4). He also had thre ehits, scored a run and drove in three.

Erik Larrabee and Nate Lord each had a single for Mt. View (3-9).

Spruce Mountain 9, Mt. Abram 3: Jake Bessey had two hits, including a triple, to lead the Phoenix to a win over the Roadrunners in Salem.

The game was tied at 3 until the seventh inning, when Spruce Mountain was able to tally six runs onto the scoreboard.

Josh Beedy and Ethan Boyd each had two hits for Mt. Abram (2-9). Calum Dixon and Jay Chenard each had triples for the Roadrunners.

Hampden 5, Lawrence 3: Matt Palmer hit a two-run single with two outs in the bottom of the sixth inning to put the Broncos up for good in a KVAC A game in Hampden.

Logan Stuart also had a triple for Hampden (7-4).

Isiah Feming went 2 for 4 with a single, double and an RBI to pace the Bulldogs (0-11).

Oak Hill 2, MCI 1: Josh Martin and Jake Martin each drove in a run for Oak Hill, and Josh Martin earned the win for the Raiders in Pittsfield.

Oak Hill (2-9) scored both runs in the first inning. Jake Bannister and Parker Asselin each had two hits for Oak Hill.

Paul Dionne doubled for MCI (0-11).
