NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. — John Massey of Waterville was recently honored as a Presidential Scholar in recognition of strong academic achievement at Merrimack College Honors Convocation. Massey is majoring in business administration.

To be named a Presidential Scholar, a senior-year student must have achieved a cumulative 3.5 grade-point average or higher, based on a 4.0 grading system.
