OAKLAND — Reid Nutter pitched a three-hitter and Trevor Gettig collected three hits to lead Messalonskee to a 5-4 win against Erskine in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A baseball game Friday.

Nutter fanned five and walked four before being relieved by Jake Dexter in Erskine’s four-run seventh. Gettig singled twice, doubled and drove in a pair of runs. Zach Mathieu added two singles for  Messalonskee (7-5) and Sam Dexter a two-run double. Ryan Pulver singled twice for Erskine (8-4).

Waterville 11. Gardiner 1: Lance Lefebvre pitched a three-hitter in his varsity start and drove in five runs to lead the Purple Panthers to th KVAC Class B win in Gardiner.

Lefebvre struck out seven and walked one and didn’t allow an earned run in going the distance. He added a double and two singles to Waterville’s 12-hit attack. Danny Pooler singled three times for the Panthers (12-1) while Tyler Bouchard doubled and singled. Travis Kelley doubled for Gardiner (7-5).

Lincoln 9, Mt. View 1: Brandon Bonney pitched a complete game, allowing one run on three hits, while striking out six and walking none in the Eagles win over the Mustangs in Thorndike.

Jake Aitken had a single and scored a run for Mt. View (3-10).

Belfast 8, MCI 1: Greg Clark and Scott Kulikowski both scored two runs as the Lions beat the Huskies in a KVAC B game in Pittsfield.

Caleb Cook pitched six shutout innings to earn the win for Belfast (5-7). MCI falls to 0-12.

Mt. Ararat 8, Skowhegan 0: Joey Vannote had a double and a single as the Eagles beat the Indians in a KVAC A game in Topsham.

Trent Chrnock added three singles and Ryan Lathrop had two singles for Mt. Ararat (3-9).

Trevor Hisler and Kam Nelson singled for Skowhegan (5-7).

Morse 9, Winslow 2: Zack Groat had a pair of doubles and four RBIs to lead the Shipbuilders to the KVAC Class B win.

Winslow starter Donald Camp allowed two earned runs but was victimized by five errors.

Joe Hopkins singled and doubled for Winslow (10-3). Morse is 10-2.

Monmouth Academy 5, Mt. Abram 1: Alex Curtis had two doubles to lead the Mustangs to a win over the Roadrunners in Monmouth.

Kyle Fletcher earned the win on the mound for the Mustangs (3-8), going all seven innings, allowing a run on three hits.

Josh Beedy had two of the Roadrunners’ (2-8) three hits. The other was a triple by Ethan Boyd.

Edward Little 4, Lawrence 1: Josh DeLong had three hits and drove in a run to lead the Red Eddies to the win in Fairfield.

John Simpson struck out seven and walked one for Edward Little (7-7). J.J. Bouchard drove in the Lawrence (0-12) run.

Lisbon 9, Carrabec 3: The Greyhonds collected 14 hits en route to the MVC win in North Anson. Kyle Bourget led the way with three singles while Nathan Smith and Ryan Riordan each had a pair of hits. Brandon Lehay tripled for Carrabec (1-10).

Lewiston 3, Mt. Blue 0: Luke Cote pitched a four-hitter and struck out nine to lead the Blue Devils to the KVAC Class A win in Farmington. Corbin Hyde singled and doubled for Lewiston (9-3). Mt. Blue is 4-8.
