The Maine Elks Association has announced its local scholarship recipients.

Hillary J. Owen, sponsored by the Gardiner Elks Lodge, and Taylor J. Watson, sponsored by the Augusta Elks Lodge, will each receive Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarships of $1,000 per year for four years.

Watson also received the Dr. Leonard Bristol and Virginia Bristol Award.

Alyssa Brochu, sponsored by the Augusta Elks Lodge, and Autumn Ortiz, sponsored by the Gardiner Elks Lodge, will each receive $900 scholarships.

Dow will also receive a Legacy Scholarship.
