WATERVILLE — Colby College Professor Jen Coane, Ph.D., and her research assistant/student Anna Caron, will give a series of presentations on memory and aging at Spectrum Generations Muskie Center. The presentations are made possible through a grant from the Goldfarb Center for Public Affairs and Civic Engagement at Colby.

The three-week series will begin Monday, June 4, with an overview introduction and types of memory; physical and mental exercise Monday, June 11; and nutrition and supplements all in relation to memory will be discussed June 25. Class times will be 10-11 a.m. Register for one or all. Cost is $3 per class; coffee, tea and muffins will be available.

The focus of the presentations is to provide information supported by research in the field about memory changes in normal aging and strategies that can benefit healthy aging.
