Rev. Walter Brown, left, greets Randolph United Methodist Church parishioner Dick Leighton during a 50th anniversary celebration of the chapel’s construction Sunday.  The church was razed by fire and rebuilt in 1961.  Brown served between 1965 and 1971 at the church where Leighton has been a member for more than 50 years.  Randolph United Methodist Church has been holding services for 165 years.
