LAVAL, Quebec — Maine-ly Harmony Chorus recently participated in the Area Competition and Contest held at the Sheraton Laval Hotel in Laval.

The competition featured 12 choruses and 15 quartets from New England and Canada.

The Maine-ly Harmony Chorus qualified to compete in the International Competition and Contest in November at Lake Buena Vista by Disney World in Orlando, Fla.

The chorus also received the Rising Star Award for showing the greatest improvement between consecutive contests.
