SOUTH CHINA — Meryl Bond hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 13th inning to lift the Erskine softball team to a come-from-behind 5-4 victory in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game Wednesday.

Erskine (12-4), which finished third in Eastern A, trailed 4-3 heading into the bottom of the 13th inning.

Ashley Green hit an RBI single to drive in Emma Robertson with the tying run. Bond then followed with the sac fly.

Deavan Smith had an RBI single in the top of the 13th inning to lead the Witches (10-6).

Richmond 13, Sacopee 4: The Bobcats collected 15 hits against the Class C Hawks in their regular-season finale. Danica Hurley led Richmond (14-1) with three singles, a double and three RBIs. Noell Acord and Bri Snedeker each singled three times while Jamie Plummer had a pair of hits. Elizabeth Moulton singled three times for Sacopee (6-10).

Winthrop 10, Wiscasset 5: Cat Ouellette had a double, triple and three RBIs to lead the Ramblers to the Mountain Valley Conference victory.

Krissy Doughty had three singles and two RBIs for the Ramblers (5-9) while Meg Scully chipped in with two singles and two RBIs.

Caroline Footer and Charlene Reid each drove in a run to lead the Wolverines (7-9).

Gardiner 11, Lincoln 1: The Tigers banged out 17 hits en route to the KVAC Class B win in Gardiner. Taylor Banister, Brittany Rollins and Kristal Smith had three hits each for Gardiner while Kylee Granholm had two. Rollins pitched the first five innings for the win, striking out seven and walking one. Gardiner is 9-7, Lincoln is 6-10.

Monmouth 10, St. Dominic 4: Reen Kahl pitched a six-hitter to lead the Mustangs to the MVC win in Auburn. Kahl also contributed two hits to Monmouth’s 11-hit attack along with Kylie Kemp and Meagan Bates. Monmouth is 12-2, St. Dom’s is 5-11.

Girls Lacrosse

Messalonskee 11, Mt. Ararat 10: Messalonskee rallied from a four-goal deficit in the first half and held on for the victory in Oakland.

Messalonskee trailed 6-2 with two minutes left in the first half. The hosts got within 6-4 by halftime and took the lead after the break.

Sarah Grenier scored five goals, Kristy Bernatchez and Allison Fischang each had two, and Syd Gagne and Haley Pelletier scored a goal apiece for Messalonskee (7-5). Izzy Skinner made eight saves.

Hayley Michaud led Mt. Ararat (8-4) with five goals and Rowley Jones added three. Anna Bruning finished with four saves.

Brunswick 8, Cony 6: Annie Kelly scored three goals to lead the host Dragons to the KVAC Class A win.

Suzanna Amith added two goals for the winners while Caroline Wildes, Dakota Foster and Lillian Kjellman scored one each.

Chelsea Begin, Mia Diplock and Josie Lee each scored two goals for Cony.

Molly Hermon made seven saves for in goal Brunswick (11-1) while Katrina Duncan made eight for Cony (9-3).

Morse 15, Gardiner 3: Christina Stuart scored three goals to lead the Shipbuilders to the Class B win in Gardiner. Shannon Rice, Sadia Crosby, Lauren Crosby and Guerin Morissette each scored twice for Morse (4-8).

Paige Pilsbury scored two goals for Gardiner (1-11) while Julie Krouse added a goal and an assist. Gardiner goalie Maddie Cutler made 13 saves.
