BURLINGTON, Vt. — Andrew R. Calder, 21, of Canaan and Burlington, Vt., recently received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from University of Vermont’s College of Engineering and Mechanical Sciences.

After having interned with Microprocessor Designs in Shelburne for two years, he now works full time for the firm.

Calder is a 2008 Skowhegan Area High School graduate, he is the son of Katharine and Matthew Calder of Canaan.
