“A New Day” is the campaign slogan for Colleen Lachowicz, our candidate for Senate District 25.
She has more than 15 years of on-the-job experience, working with the mentally ill and other disadvantaged people living in Maine. Most of these people were unable to care for themselves and would have gone without the benefits they are entitled to without her help.
She received her degree in social work at Boston College. When the Soviet Union’s form of communism collapsed, the U.S. government sent her to Bulgaria, where she worked with the new government to help people who had social problems adjust to a democratic style of living. Her sincerity, knowledge and common sense led to much success.
All of the above tells us what she can accomplish for District 25. Our future and that of our children rest in her capable hands.
