I am voting for Colleen Lachowicz in the Democratic primary for Senate District 25 on June 12.
Lachowicz works directly, day in and day out, with families here in Central Maine. She understands the issues and sees firsthand how they affect the children we care about. She sees those children come to school without food or without winter clothes. Some of their families use their ovens to heat their homes.
She works tirelessly to help these families and to help build a better community for all of us.
The choices made in the state Senate can mean the difference between life or death. We need someone who knows what those decisions will mean in the long term, someone who is concerned with facts and research, not just ideology. I enrolled in the Democratic Party to support Lachowicz, and I hope others will, too.
