The latest campaign finance reports in Maine’s U.S. Senate race are trickling in as a midnight filing deadline  approaches. The reports provide the last comprehensive look at finances before the June 12 primary. Here is a look:

— Maine Senate Assistant Majority Leader Debra Plowman, one of six Republican U.S. Senate candidates, said she raised $20,160 between April 1 and May 24. She had raised $5,262 in March, giving her a total of $25,422.

Plowman spent $15,064 during the latest reporting period, and had $9,956 in cash on hand as of May 24.

— Attorney General Bill Schneider, another Republican, raised $36,127.78 between April 1 and May 24, according to the campaign finance report released in full by his campaign. He had raised $40,095 in March, bringing his total to $76,222.78.

Schneider spent $43,453.02 during the seven-week period ending May 24, and his campaign had $29,159.04 in cash on hand as of May 24.

—Former Maine Senate President Rick Bennett, a Republican, raised $76,644 between April 1 and May 24, according to his campaign. He had raised $107,659 in March, bringing his fundraising total to $184,393.

Bennett, the CEO of an investment research company, did not donate any more of his personal money, beyond a $2,5000 contribution in March, his campaign said.

Bennett spent $64,037.19 in the latest reporting period and had $117,211.81 in cash on hand as of May 24, the report says.

— Maine Rep. Jon Hinck, D-Portland, one of four Democrats in the June 12 Senate primary, raised $25,819.12 between April 1 and May 24, according to a partial report provided by his campaign. Hinck had already raised $85,264 in previous reporting periods and was the top Democrat in the money chase.

Hinck spent $21,970.60 during the seven-week period ending May 24. He had $7,988.96 in cash on hand as of May 24, the rport says.

— Secretary of State Charlie Summers,a Republican, raised $68,635 between April 1 and May 24, according to the campaign finance report released in full by his campaign. He had already raised $21,280 before March 31.

Summers spent $4,778.31 during the latest reporting period and had $85,136.69 in cash on hand as of May 24.

— Former Gov. Angus King, who is running as an independent and won’t particpate in the June 12 primary, raised 295,234.67 between April 1 and May 24, the end of the latest reporting period, according to his campaign. That is in addition to the $173,561 he raised in March.

The total for the latest period does not include any addituonal loans from King,his campaign says.

King spent $177,211.67 in the seven-week period, and had $260,344.80 in cash on hand as of May 24.

— Maine State Treasurer Bruce Poliquin, a Republican candidate, said today his campaign raised more than $229,000 during the two months since entering the primary race.

This is Poliquin’s first report, so it represents all financial activity through May 24. Poliquin’s campaign has not yet released his full report, but says the candidate did contribute some of his own money to the campaign. It did not disclose how much the campaign has spent or how much cash on hand it has.
