We don’t need another elderly housing project in the area at this time.

It would be nice if the city of Waterville bought St. Francis de Sales church on Elm Street and turned it into a museum that highlights the history of the Waterville area along with preserving the history and integrity of the church.

It would be nice to show our younger generation how our city evolved and became the city we see today though a museum.

Too many times we see urban sprawl come in and take over when we don’t really need it.

There is a time and a place for everything, and I think this would be a great opportunity for the city of Waterville. A historical museum would have a great impact on the community. The hall in the back could be used for an afterschool mentoring center for the children and teens in the area. It also would give our children a social setting where they could go that didn’t cost anything.
