DURHAM, N.H. — University of New Hampshire student Jason Gilmore of Richmond, Maine, has received a Fulbright Scholarship.

Gilmore received a bachelor’s degree in English in 2011 and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in secondary education. He will spend the summer working as a teaching assistant in South Korea. Gilmore served as a tutor and counselor for UNH Upward Bound. He was a member of the University Honors Program, the Pi Lamda Theta Education Honors Society, and Phi Beta Kappa.

BURLINGTON, Vt. — Champlain College has announced students named to its spring 2012 semester dean’s and president’s lists.

Dean’s list students are Corbin Percy of Dresden, Maine, a game programming major, and Paige Rolfe of Farmingdale, a legal studies major.

Megan Percy of Dresden, a computer and digital forensics major, was named to the president’s list.

Brown brothers

ORONO — Paul Brown of Mount Vernon graduated from the University of Maine at Orono with a bachelor’s degree in financial economics. He has been accepted to Sykes College of Business, Tampa University, to study for a master’s degree in finance.

Robert Brown of Mount Vernon has recently been inducted into Order of Omega, Beta Gamma Sigma, and Phi Kappa Phi Honor societies at UMaine. He is currently studying abroad at James Cook University, Townsville, Australia. He is enrolled in the College of Business, Public Policy and Health with a major in accounting.

They are the sons of Bill and Kathy Brown of Mount Vernon.
