AUGUSTA — The University of Maine at Augusta is registering students for YoUMA, a pre-college program for students entering their sophomore, junior or senior year of high school.

The program will take place July 16-20 and July 23-27. Students can participate for one week or two.

Sessions feature college courses, group discussions and more. Courses include The Psychology of You; The Science of Soaps; From Pixel to Print; What Would Sherlock Holmes Do; Culinary Arts; Being Better at Being You; and Acting Up.

The cost is $250 per session or $400 for both. Lunch is included. Scholarships are available.
