I would like to thank the teachers and staff at Skowhegan Area High School, and all of SAD 54.

As the final days of high school for our son come to an end, I wish to express my respect and sincere appreciation to the dedication and care shown daily to our young adults from everyone at SAHS.

The time and effort they give to our children has not gone unnoticed. I have always felt some people are teachers and some are assigners, and we have been blessed with a wonderful group of amazing teachers at SAHS!

They have a remarkable ability to help a vast array of students, sometimes teaching them in spite of themselves. They push the ones who need a push, challenge students who strive for more, and guide those who require their attention as if they were their own.

They have helped these kids become fine young adults and have given them a great start in life. Offering respect and showing each student that they cared for them and wished each of them to be a success in their life, is a gift that will carry with them always.

Some of these young adults already understand what their teachers have given them, but eventually every single one of them will realize just how fortunate they have been.

As a parent of a graduating senior at Skowhegan Area High School, I want o thank the teachers, coaches, guidance department, office staff, school board and a very supportive community for a most excellent experience for my son and our family.
