Another letter last week said how actions in the Maine Senate can mean the difference between life and death. Such it is with me.

As a result of changes to MaineCare, I have lost access to medications that help control a rare condition that I have, a condition that could kill me if left uncontrolled.

Before being stricken, I worked three jobs to support my family. I’m not lazy; just because I cannot work and need assistance now does not mean I’m a bum. I want to do what I can and to be here for my family as long as possible.

It’s people like Colleen Lachowicz who understand my concerns and fight for people like me. Give her your vote on June 12 so she can do the same for others.
