I support Lori Fowle for representative for House District 58.
While I was a teacher at Vassalboro School, Lori and I were on a committee charged with improving the educational environment for students, staff and administration.
Lori was concerned about all three groups, helping to ensure the best possible outcomes for all students.
Later, I negotiated for Vassalboro’s teachers, with Lori as the school board’s representative. Lori was always concerned for the equitable treatment of teachers, while she remained committed to controlling the school budget.
We co-led a group in Odyssey of the Mind. She was skilled in balancing leading with letting the students complete their own project.
Lori listens to others, speaks her mind respectfully, and will act for the benefit of all Maine people. She will work to improve Maine’s education system, while exercising fiscal responsibility.
