Why do you continue to publish right-wing screeds from Joseph Reisert?
His latest claim is that both parties are “shifting away from politics’ ideological center,” which is a claim that far-right pundits make to mask the fact that the tea party has driven the Republican party so far to the right that moderate Republicans are in danger of losing their jobs.
There has been no similar shift in the Democratic party, and Reisert knows it.
If you publish his nonsense just to fill column space, please contact me, and I will gladly provide you with an article or two every week. I am a diligent voter who is unaffiliated with either party, a social liberal and a fiscal conservative. Your readers might appreciate opinion pieces that are not regurgitated party positions.
