FARMINGTON — The University of Maine at Farmington community is inviting the public and honored guests at a retirement gathering to honor and celebrate Theodora J. Kalikow’s 18 years of service as president. The festivities will be 4-6 p.m. Thursday at the Emery Community Arts Center on the UMF campus.

Light refreshments will be available. No gifts please.

Speakers joining the celebration will include: Carlene Tremblay representing Sen. Susan Collins, Sen. Tom Saviello, University of Maine System Board of Trustees member Bonnie Newsom, Farmington Town Manager Dick Davis, UMF Board of Visitors President Nancy Marshall, and UMF Alumni Council President Sven Bartholomew.
