RANGELEY — Taylor Esty hit a two-run home run in the first inning as the Rangeley softball team earned a 4-3 win over Buckfield in a Western D regional semifinal game Friday.

No. 2 Rangeley improves to 12-3 and advances to play No. 1 Richmond in the regional final at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph’s College in Standish. No. 3 Buckfield ends the season 10-7.

Emily Carrier added an RBI single for Rangeley. The Lakers scored their fourth run on a bases loaded walk.
