FARMINGTON — Franklin Community Health Network recently held its sixth annual Champions for Children Men’s Basketball Tournament. The tournament featured seven men’s teams.

This fundraising event raised nearly $10,000 to provide care at Franklin Health Child and Adolescent Developmental Pediatrics for children whose families are uninsured.

The beneficiary treats children with developmental disabilities such as autism spectrum disorders, Asperger’s Syndrome, ADHD and difficulties with learning and school performance.

The VTec Team from the Portland area received the first place trophy. A traveling engraved plaque was awarded to coaches from the Wilton Recreation Department for their victory over Franklin Health employees during the annual exhibition game.
