FRANKLIN, Mass. — Megan McQuarrie of Vassalboro was recently named to the 2012 spring-semester dean’s list at Dean College in Franklin with a grade-point average of 3.90. She is a dance major and a member of the class of 2015.

McQuarrie also performed at the American College Dance Festival, in Washington, D.C., at the Kennedy Center in May with the Joan Phelps Palladino School of Dance at Dean College. The piece was performed by 10 dance majors and was selected from approximately 450 works, encompassing 10 regions across the U.S.

Students are eligible to be named to the dean’s list if they have successfully completed an academic course load of 14 credits per semester and have earned a grade-point average of 3.3 or higher.
