PORTLAND — The Maine Conservation Corps recently welcomed Christina Walker of Oakland to serve as an environmental educator and AmeriCorps volunteer at the Maine Department of Conservation’s Bureau of Parks & Lands.

Walker is a 2012 graduate of the University of Southern Maine where she studied anthropology and archaeology.

The Corps places AmeriCorps volunteers throughout Maine to complete conservation and environmental education projects.
