What happened to the courtesy school bus drivers used to have? They used to pull over if several cars, sometimes even one car, were behind them.

I have had to follow a school bus on Route 100 several times coming home in the afternoon. Sometimes as many as eight vehicles stacked behind him, and yet he still has us stop and go at every one of his stops.

I am always worried I might be hit by someone behind me who’s not paying attention because of texting or cell phone usage or just plain being tired.

I can’t wait for school to end for the year; I hope next year they have a new bus driver.
