LEXINGTON — A Summer Fair is planned from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 23, and Sunday, June 24, at the site of the History House at the intersection of Long Falls Dam and Back roads. This event is sponsored by the Lexington/Highland Historical Society.

Funds are being raised to complete the museum which will house memorabilia from earlier days depicting the history of Lexington and Highland plantations. Volunteers have spent many hours working on various stages of the project.

The two-day fair will feature a bake sale, “What Not” yard sale, used-book sale, perennial plant sale and a chicken barbecue at noon Sunday, June 24.

Proceeds will benefit the next phase of the building project.
