BELGRADE — Belgrade Community Center for All Seasons recently announced its summer activities.

Beginning Monday, June 25, children entering grades kindergarten through six can attend Camp Golden Pond. Participants can spend their days swimming, playing games, doing crafts, going on field trips and more. There will be visits by Chewonki, Northern Star Planetarium, The Mad Scientists and others.

Children entering grades six through nine can join Camp Loon and the Compass Project Boat Building Camp. These camps are designed to strengthen teamwork and leadership skills. Camp Loon teens can earn First Aid/CPR certification, stay overnight and go on field trips. Compass Project Boat Building campers can work together to build a peace canoe the week of July 23.

Adults can start the week with ping pong competition or participate in yoga on Mondays. On Tuesdays, adults can join the morning paddle in canoes and kayaks. In the evening, the zumba group will meet. Adult basketball will be offered Wednesday and Sunday nights. On Thursdays senior water aerobics is available in the morning and bridge in the afternoon.

Latin Babies, story time and toddler time for children will be offered Thursday mornings. Parents, their babies and toddlers can enjoy salsa dancing, a story and craft provided by the Belgrade Public Library and free playtime in the gym. Volleyball will be offered in the evening.
