WATERVILLE — The Hospice Volunteers of Waterville Area Resale Shop officially opened June 4. Store hours are 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday in the basement of the organization’s 304 Main St. building.

If interested in volunteering at the shop or for more information, call Susan Roy at 873-3615, ext. 13.

Needed and accepted donations would be: gently used furniture, brand name (seasonal clothing),collectibles, books, house ware (dishes, glassware, flatware), antiques, jewelry, toys in good condition and linens.

The following items will be accepted if new and unopened: bandages and medical supplies, bike helmets, mattresses, pillows, cosmetics, disposable diapers/pads.

The following items will not be accepted: computer CPUs, electric or kerosene heaters, flammable items, hair dryers, personal hygiene appliances, any item containing offensive and/or inappropriate slogans, or window blinds.
