WATERVILLE — Spectrum Generations Muskie Community Center’s kitchen in Waterville recently received major renovations as a part of We Sustain Maine, Spectrum Generations national award-winning program that incorporates Maine food products year-round in its Meals on Wheels menu.
Renovations included removing a wall to provide better workspace for Meals on Wheels volunteers. A state-of-the-art “flash” freezer was installed and a generator will be added in July to prevent food spoilage and to keep the kitchen running during power outages.
