America is once again to vote for a president and members of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, hoping that these Republicans, Democrats and independents will make a difference this November.

Is this hope centered in wishful thinking? Yes it is. The reality is that the U.S. Congress, helped by the Supreme Court, has legislated the U.S. Constitution out of existence. They have given up their constitutional rights and responsibilities over to the president and made the Constitution null and void.

No longer does Congress vote on a declared war. No longer does Congress regulate the monetary policy of the United States. No longer does Congress issue gold and silver as the money of account of the United States.

Congress has created an elected dictatorship in the executive branch to overrule Congress by executive orders. We are no longer a nation by the people, of the people and for the people, but a government by the military industrial complex, a multi-national banking cartel and special interest groups such as the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilaterial Commission and the Bilderburg group.

I believe these are the true rulers of America, and the politicians in Washington today are just figureheads being manipulated by these special interests.

The Constitution is now void. We need a new constitutional convention to restore the government back to the people, for the people and of the people.
