One Winthrop School official recently indicated the voters didn’t understand the budget process, so they were not qualified to vote on it.

Fortunately enough were qualified to defeat it.

Any budget that calls for a tax increase is not acceptable so I hope those responsible realize this fact and come up with an amount the taxpayers can accept.
