FARMINGTON — University of Maine at Farmington’s Fitness and Recreation Center recently announced the outdoor recreation activities will be offered this summer. Activities are open to both the campus and the public.

WINSLOW — St. John Catholic School artists and Hollie Hilton, the school’s art teacher, recently teamed up with Artsonia, the world’s largest online children’s art museum to display the students’ artwork.

BELGRADE — The Maine Office of Tourism will be at the Kennebec and Moose River Valleys from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Oct. 25, at the Belgrade Lakes Maine Lakes Resource Center for a one on one with representatives.

MANCHESTER, N.H. — James P. Cassidy of Winslow, a chemistry major, was recently named to the 2012 Spring semester dean’s list at Saint Anselm College. Cassidy is a member of the class of 2015.

ORONO — Jenna Sementelli, of Fairfield, a junior at the University of Maine Orono was recenlty named to the 2012 spring semester dean’s list.

FARMINGTON — Hannah Sloane-Barton and friends will perform a vocal recital with Patricia Hayden on piano at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at the University of Maine at Farmington’s Nordica Auditorium. The event is sponsored by the Arts Institute of Western Maine.
