Soon it will be the Fourth of July, Independence Day, when America will celebrate everything great about the land of the free and the home of the brave. America, the greatest nation ever, did not come easily, but at great cost in both lives and fortunes by a great number of men and women from varied backgrounds. Heroes every one.

I would like to remind all as we hurry and scurry about our hectic lives making plans to spend our patriotic holiday with families and friends, freedom isn’t free. So between the barbecues, fireworks and other festivities, when you attend a parade and the American flag passes, flying bold and brave like the patriots who won the day, please stand and place your hand over your heart out of the respect our great flag deserves. If you have a mind, say a little prayer thanking our almighty God for all of America’s blessings.
