SKOWHEGAN — Hospice Volunteers of Somerset County Inc. training for volunteers will begin Tuesday, July 10, in Madison at the United Baptist Church. The training will be from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays for four weeks. The last class is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 2.
This free training is open to any adult willing to offer in-home support to neighbors in their community, visit people at a nursing home, become a grief group co-facilitator, and/or assist in the office.
