HARMONY — A benefit dinner for 13-year-old Aliza Stutzman, who was recently diagnosed with cancer, is set for 4-7 p.m. Saturday, July 14, at Harmony Elementary School.

Cost is by donation and all proceeds will help cover medical expenses.

For anyone who is unable to attend the dinner and would like to make a donation, checks can be made payable to Aliza Stutzman and sent to Bangor Savings Bank, P.O. Box 454, Skowhegan, ME 04976.

Bracelets will be sold for $3 each at the dinner. They were created by Aliza with her favorite saying on the inside: “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” and the outside reads, “Aliza Jean — fight like a girl.” If interested in ordering bracelets, call Lisa Rackliff Rice at 683-5566 or Teresa Patterson Pratt at 683-2595.
