WATERVILLE — Ryan Pulver and Donald Camp each had RBI singles in a six-run sixth inning to snap a 5-5 tie and lift Subway to an 11-5 win over Madison in an American Legion Zone 2 game Thursday at Coombs Field.
Tom Grady and Sean Cabaniss also had singles in the inning for Subway (4-2). Shyler Scates earned the victory and Subway also scored a pair of runs on bases loaded walks.
Garrett Emery had two doubles and Chase Nelson added a pair of singles to pace Madison (6-3).
Junior Legion
Somerset 3, Tri-Town 2: Chase Whittemore had an RBI single and Ethan Liberty pitched two scoreless innings of relief to lead Somerset in Skowhegan. Cody Saucier and Matt Turner also had singles for Somerset (4-3).
Payton Kennison and Bill Bickford each had doubles for Tri-Town (6-1).
Post 14 8, Lewiston 2: Cody Martin went 3-4 with 4 RBIs to lead Post 14 of Fairfield to a Junior Legion win over Lewiston.
Derek Bowen added a double for Post 14. Patrick Breton picked up the win on the mound, going all seven innings, striking out two batters.
Mike Wong went 2-4 with a double to lead Lewiston.
