OXFORD — Ben Ashline likes Oxford Plains Speedway. The track is pretty kind to the Pittston driver, too.

Ashline, an American-Canadian Tour regular, returned to OPS and won a 40-lap Late Model feature Saturday night.

“I’m not going to lie,” Ashline said, “I love that track.”

It’s the second victory at OPS this season for Ashline, who also won a 150-lap ACT race there on May 20.

Ashline started 28th but used the outside groove to take the lead for good midway through the race.

“Before the race, I said that if we could cut the field in half, it’d be a good night,” Ashline said. “So this feels good. We have loads of momentum going.”
