FAIRFIELD — Senior citizens will celebrate Christmas from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, July 19, during the 23rd annual Melody Ranch Christmas Party, hosted by Gerald and Bethany Vigue.
Each year the couple, owners of the Fairfield Center dance hall, invite area nursing homes and residential care centers to bring seniors to celebrate Christmas in July. The Vigues, with the help of friends and volunteers, treat the seniors to a luncheon, holiday music, dancing, Santa Claus and presents.
The event is free.
Vocalist Denise Dorrian, of Fairfield, will be the featured songstress. Robert Carignan, of Hartland, will be the disc jockey.
