HARTLAND — The Hartland Historical Society has taken on the restoration of the Ireland Cemetery. Members and residents feel the condition of the cemetery reflects poorly on the town as a whole. Many stones are in need repair.
Some money has been raised; more is needed. Donations can be mailed to: Hartland Historical Society P.O. Box 173, Hartland, ME 04943-0173. Attention: Cemetery Fund.
