Book on bullying released
Authors Pam Turner and Ken Hinkley will be at the Lighthouse Bible Book Store, 199 Ridge Road in Fairfield on Saturday, July 14 from 1 to 3 p.m., as a part of their state-wide tour to sign copies of their book.
The lasting effects of bullying, teasing and taunting are inescapable in “Through Troubled Waters” (published by WestBow Press), an interactive book that is a story, a study guide and an information resource all in one.
Turner grew up in Carthage, worked several jobs locally and now lives with her mother.
Hinkley is the pastor at Dixfield Common Baptist Church and Carthage Union Church.
The authors are available to any church, school, club or organization that would like to have them discuss the topics of bullying, teasing and other forms of verbal abuse
