At 10:40 a.m., one person was taken to MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta with a complaint of pain after a car hit another from behind on Litchfield Road. The injuries were not believed to be serious and there were no charges in connection with the crash.

MANCHESTER

TUESDAY

At 4:47 p.m., one person was taken to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston with a complaint of pain after crashing his motorcycle on U.S. Route 202 near Augusta Country Club. The motorcycle driver told police he overturned he was thrown from his motorcycle while stopping in traffic in front of him that had stopped to allow golfers to cross the road.

At 8:20 a.m., David McEachern, 25, of Sidney, was arrested on a warrant charging failure to appear at the Augusta Police Department on Union Street.

12:16 p.m., Cody J. Thompson, 19, of Chelsea, was arrested on charges of theft and violating conditions of release by police responding to a shoplifting complaint at Kohls on Stephen King Drive.

At 4:22 p.m., Philip Justin Fitzherbert, 27, of West Gardiner, was arrested on a warrant charging failure to appear by police responding to a report of suspicious activity at Solare Spa on Maine Avenue.

At 7:16 p.m., Antonio Giandrea, 41, of Litchfield, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence reckless conduct by police conducting a welfare check on Chapman Drive.
