RICHMOND — Swan Island Wildlife Management Area will host falconer Larry Barnes for a Peregrine falcon program at 5:30 p.m. July 18 on Swan Island.

Participants will meet a live Peregrine falcon and learn about their life history and ecology. Space is limited; all ages are welcome.

Admission costs $8. The ferry schedule on the day of this event will be 9 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., by reservation only. A ferry will depart at 7 p.m. immediately after the event. To register, call 547-5322.
