WATERVILLE — A group of Waterville-area parents will gather at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the North Street Playground to grill food and discuss a current campaign to phase out toxic BPA from baby and toddler food containers sold in Maine. The group, Mainely Moms and Dads, will team up with the Environmental Health Strategy Center to distribute information about the BPA campaign to local residents. Candidates running for State Senate and the House of Representatives will also be invited to discuss the BPA issue.
