SKOWHEGAN — United Way of Mid-Maine will host the Dog Daze of Summer community appreciation event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 28, at Coburn Park. The event is free and open to all. Cold drinks, hot dogs and watermelon will be provided. Participants can compete in Wiffle ball and Frisbee. Attendees are encouraged to grab a leash and bring their pets.

In case of rain, the event will take place Sunday, July 29.
