PITTSFIELD — Children ages infant through 6 can hear stories and songs about dreams at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday in the children’s area at Pittsfield Public Library. Children ages 8-12 can learn the legend of the dreamcatcher 3 p.m. Thursday in the Warren Community Room. Participants can create a dreamcatcher to bring home.

To pre-register for the dreamcatcher activity, call the library at 487-5880.

Last week’s winners in the 2012 Summer Reading Program were: Riley Lary, Spencer Strong, Wyatt Robinson and Zane Dean. For participating in the Dream Big-Read reading program, they each earned a pass to the Maine Discovery Museum in Bangor.
